July has given us quite a heat wave so far this month.  Our average temperature has been about 110 degrees!  Each of the horses have enjoyed getting to “play in the sprinklers” like most kids do during summer vacation!  Our barn is almost done!  We will have 3 stalls, one 12 x 24 and two 12 x 12 that open up into a 48 x 96 turn out!  We have been spending a lot of time doing beautification projects around the ranch.  I have planted 2 flowerbeds and I think the flowers are protesting the heat!  The first set of flowers I planted are already wilted and pretty sad looking.  I think that they might end up being a casualty of the desert sun.  We have done a lot of weeding and raking to spruce things up and it is looking very nice!  Things are slowly coming together for us!  We have been going on several short trail rides with our friends.  

We are going to try to organize a Fall Festival with horse games, timed events and a trail course.  We have not set a date yet but keep an eye for more details on our fun filled Fall Festival!  If you would like to be put on our e-mail list for future events, e-mail us!
